Some of you may know that I love making jigsaw puzzles. It gives me both a sense of peace and happiness. Plus there is the added blessing of minutely seeing the colors and strokes of beauty.
Recently I got just such a happiness, and it juxtaposed so well with a poem about Kathak — for the jigsaw puzzle was also of a Kathak dancer. So here is a short (video) of that experience — born of happiness and beauty.
The poem accurately describes the exhilaration that a dancer would feel with the rhythm, movement, and the success of completing a chakkar right on time. The painting which was made into the jigsaw puzzle is gorgeous.
